The endodontic procedure involves removing bacteria from inside the tooth and the root canals. Once they have been cleaned the root canals are sealed and the tooth is then repaired with a filling or a crown. Before treatment commences, the patient will be anaesthetised so that the procedure is painless. After treatment the tooth may be sensitive but this is a highly successful dental treatment and only a small percentage of patients may in the UK experience a mild flare up around the tooth. Underbite: If you close your mouth and your lower front teeth are in front of your upper teeth, then you have an underbite. This can make it difficult to chew properly or speak clearly, and potentially cause your teeth to wear down more quickly.
