I am amazed. I bought these to help with the “film’ that builds up on the windshield thinking if these don’t work I at least tried. They worked wonderful. No streaks and no residue. My family was hosting an estate sale for and some of the glassware has been sitting for YEARS and was so cloudy looking you couldn’t see through them. I used my cloths with only water and all the glassware looked brand new and in much less time that it would have taken to wash and dry over 100 pieces of glassware. I used one cloth all day to clean all the glasses and everything else that needed a wiping down. I used only bottled water and rinsed it every so often because it was so dirty but after a rinse and wring it was good as new and kept on cleaning. I am buying more because my husband wants to steal one of my cloths ! I even had people at the sale shopping asking me about my cloths !
These really are magic. I cut and used one small (about 5″x5”) piece and now I have the cleanest tablets, TVs, phone, windows and mirrors I’ve ever had. Then I found many other uses, including fingerprints on doors and walls, my non-stainless appliances, faucets and spigots, my digital clocks, and windowsills. I just carried it around and cleaned any little thing that needed it. I cleaned everything with just a little water. Then I put a little dishwashing liquid on it to wash it out, and, yes it did show a lot of dirt still, but I pressed it between paper towels and no dirt transferred. Later in the day I picked it up again and it worked just as well. I think these 3 big cloths will last me several years, at least, and my bottle of Windex will last much much longer than that!
After you use the cloths, you should rinse them with hot water in the sink. According to the company, the rate of bacteria transfer from one surface to another after a warm rinse is only 0.01%, which feels pretty reassuring. But if you want to give them a really good soapy clean, you can throw them in the washing machine in hot water with a small amount of detergent.
